The shop opened in 2009, some 20 years after the closure of the previous village store. It is the first such community enterprise in Worcestershire. Designed to be a convenient meeting place and focal point for the local community, it is run by an enthusiastic and committed group of volunteers who provide a warm welcome and a friendly, personal service.
We are very proud to have won the national ‘Best Village Shop’ award in 2009, from nearly 900 entries.
We are always looking for new volunteers, both to serve in the shop and to help with a variety of ‘backroom’ tasks. If you have a couple of hours a week to spare, please enquire at the shop, call us on (01527) 894475 or see our be a volunteer page.
We welcome groups (walkers, cyclists and others) of up to 20 for tea/coffee and cake.
Please call ahead on (01527) 894475 to book so that we can be sure to offer our usual high level of service.
Open seven days a week
